華～puspa～ぷしゅぱ Official Website

Puspa is a sister tap duo from Kyoto, Japan.

Both Kiyoka Nakanishi and Yuka Nakanishi major in English Literature and English Education at Doshisha University. They belong to Doshisha Tap Dance Circle ShimSham.

Kiyoka teaches dance at DO-ONE. She is also a dance choreographer and teacher of an idol group, Mirai Skirt.

浄華＆優華 Kiyoka and Yuka choreograph all of their own dances. Puspa’s original dance style is product of studying Jazz, Hip-hop, and Ballet. They have collaborated with various artists and performers such as jazz musicians, fiddlers, jugglers, poets, guitarists, pianists and singers. In 2007, Puspa performed at the New York City Tap Festival. In 2010 and 2011, they won first prize at a tap dance competition in Osaka.

In the future, they aspire become tap dancers who can bring great happiness to people through dance.

京都出身の姉妹Tap Duo。

Jazz・Hip-hop・Balletなどの要素を盛り込む、希代のタップダンサー。
ジャンルを問わず、様々なアーティストとのコラボレーションに挑戦。
「見てくれた人たちに感動を与えられるダンサー」を目指し、幅広い活動を続ける。

ニューヨークで開催されたTap City Festivalに2007年、2010年に出演。現地のマスコミに高く評価された。
2010年に関西で行われたタップダンスの大会でグループ部門優勝。
同大会で2011年にも優勝を飾り、２連覇を達成する。

Starting at ages four and three, Kiyoka and Yuka have studied Jazz dance at Dance Office One in Kyoto. They continued on to study Tap, Hip-hop, Ballet, Theatre Jazz, Jazz Hip-hop, L.A. style, Contemporary dance.

Kiyoka and Yuka began their activities as a tap duo in 2002. They have participated in Hana No Yoshidagumi Performance as important dancers of Tap and Jazz since 2004. In 2007, they performed at Tap City Festival Tap Youth/Tap Future (N.Y. The Duke on 42nd Street) as the first youth team from Japan and appeared in The Jersey Journal. After the performance, they were given the opportunity by Max Pollak to perform at his live show in Central Park.

In 2009, Puspa performed together with a Scandinavian Instrumental band, Drakskip. Chosen as advertising characters of some products of Yamachu Corporation, they can beseen in its web commercial, Kyoto Hannari Collaboration. In 2010, they won first prize in a group category at Musication, a tap dance competition in Osaka.

In the same year, Kiyoka and Yuka passed the auditions for Gregory Hines Youth Scholarships and the Pre-Professional Program of the New York Tap City Festival. In addition, they passed the selection process of Teens Take It to the Studio and performed at Tap Future (Broadway, Symphony Space) both as members of PPP and Puspa.

They have participated in P.A.D. art events hosted by a live painter BOSS HIKO since August 2010. Puspa’s performance highlights include “10CYCLES”, Tranq Room’s 10th anniversary event where they did jam session with Nabowa, a collaboration with Shingo Sakata, a juggler, at Miss Campus Kan Kan Do Ritsu 2010 (Kyoto, Shin-puh-kan), and a jazz dance performance with a singer Mami Sakurai at “maigo no neko” (Kyoto, DO-ONE ).

In 2011, Puspa won their second consecutive victory in a group category at Musication.

Puspa has participated in other such activities as art events, street events, school events, and social welfare facility events, and has made appearances in various media and publications.

2010年6月	（株）山忠ウエブサイトＣＭ「京都はんなりコラボレーション」出演。
2010年6月	第1回Musication（大阪、LIVE Café 道頓堀ZAZA）チーム部門優勝。
2010年6月	The New York City Tap Festival 「Scholarship」「Pre-Professional Program」オーディション合格。
2010年7月	Pre-Professional Program に参加。
2010年7月	TEEN “TAKE IT TO THE STUDIO”優勝。
2010年7月	TAP FUTURE（Broadway、Symphony Space）出演。
2010年8月より	ライブ・ペインター菩須彦氏主催、アートイベントP.A.D.に参加。
2010年9月	Tranq Room10周年イベント「10CYCLES」（京都、Tranq Room）にて、Nabowaとセッション。
2010年10月	ミスキャンパス関関同立2010（京都、新風館）にて、ジャグラー酒田慎吾氏とコラボ作品を披露。
2010年11月	「まいごのねこ」(京都、DO-ONE)にて、ボーカリスト桜井まみ氏と共演。
2011年6月	第2回Musication（大阪、LIVE Café 道頓堀ZAZA）チーム部門優勝。
現在までに、教育機関にて、ダンス振付・指導などを手がける。また、ダンスイベントの他、アートイベント・地域活性化イベント・教育機関イベント・社会福祉施設イベント・メディア等、出演・掲載など多数の実績がある。
